The wall mount Fastlane mounts to a bracket that is installed in the pool wall. ![]() The hydraulic pump for either the deck mount or the wall mount Fastlane can be placed by the rest of the pool equipment up to 200 Feet away. It was only after a complete redesign that we started heavily promoting the wall mount (or new construction) Fastlane. The Fastlane website shows many pictures of our retrofit Fastlanes because that was the product that we initially sold and have the most installed pictures of. (Katherine called me yesterday afternoon and we had a discussion at length about the Fastlane). I felt I should respond to let others who are reading understand more about the Fastlane. The bottom line here is that if you would like to swim in your swimming pool, the Fastlane is THE best swim current option on the market. Installation costs will vary depending on exactly what's being done and how far the swim unit will be from your pool equipment. The MSRP of the Fastlane is $5,900 for the basic system and $6,600 for a higher speed version (really only necessary for the top 5% of swimmers) plus shipping to CA which averages $350. The speed of the current will dissipate as you get further from the Fastlane unit, but we have tried it in a 75 foot pool and the current is strong enough to be felt 75 feet from the unit. The 800 gallon figure is generally achieved using 2 large jet pumps.įastlane will absolutely provide enough resistance in the pool you have shown here. It's comparable to swimming into a fire hose. This is turbulent, bubbly and merely hits you in the head and shoulders. Jets, on the other hand, can move at most 800 gallons per minute through a small jet nozzle. The current is fully adjustable in 50 steps from a gentle drift to a speed designed to satisfy competitive swimmers. The block of water moved by the Fastlane is wider than your body and deeper than your swim stroke. The Fastlane uses a 5hp hydraulic pump (not 2) which turns a 16" propeller capable of moving up to 5000 gallons of water per minute in a broad, deep clear and smooth current. We manufacture the Fastlane.įirst of all, the Fastlane does not employ jets and is not in any way a swim jet. Up front, I want to tell you that I work for Endless Pools. I seems as though some clarifications might be needed here. ![]()
